My hammock is dark green, my tarp is woodland. My backpack is blue... but only because the choices at the time were blue or RED.
I'm normally about blending in but I have a thing for blaze orange. Hence, I have a blaze orange hammock
How about Reflectix?
Well I have a few ideas to impart and I am glad I amongst friends. Black and Brown Bears have been observed trashin tents from observation at about 2 miles away in the bush. The tents were in bright colors that were a clear attractant without trees. Recently in Grand Canyon it was noticed that "teen" Condors have the same attractants in terms of color. So they too trash tents in the field. I don't have all the answers - but when I do - turn to Hammock Forums and the most interesting man in the world.

Who continued to bother and howl;
He sat on a rail, And imbibed bitter ale,
Which refreshed that Old Man and his owl.WOO
