ENO wasn't always a household name in the industry - they worked to get there just like every other company has (or wants to).

This reminds me of people who mock "one-hit-wonder" musicians, when we all know that just about all musicians would kill to achieve even one hit.

"Beginer hammock?" LOL I started "hammocking" back in the 1980's, before there was such a thing as "hammocking!" You want t to know that a "beginer hammock" is? An old Army, clothing and sales, "net hammock." THAT is a "beginner hammock my friend.
Compared to those your Eno is top of the line.
I was out of everything, due to ongoing surgeries, for about a decade and, when I recently started getting back "out there," I have been stuned by all the fancy stuff out that is available now-a-days.
Don't knock your Eno because it is not as fancy as some people may like. It is worlds better than anyone had just a few years back!

Many people have had success with ENO hammocks. I too, started with one. However, the materials and construction just can't compare to my current warbonnet..

A Chevette does not compare to a Corvette either, in price or performance but the Chevette would get you where you needed to go.

I used to have a Chevette. I used to tell people, "yeah, I drive a 'vette"

ENO hammocks are easy to find in a store, affordable, and simple---------no shame in that! Also, you see them all over the place---the stuff sack hanging from the center is pretty destinctive!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

Eno is perhaps one of the best things to happen to Camping in the last 10 years... They have been able to open the eyes of many older campers and new campers like myself to a much easier and peace of mind camping... I will say that pretty much all hammocks are beginner hammocks... They all take a faction of the time to set up, get in, and enjoy plus you have more freedom in modifying which is great as well.
