I would love to see a sub forum with this very type post in it. Our cottage vendors posting specials or products with a option to purchase. Hammock and backpacking related gear.

Nice rig, fighting the urge to order.

Lock N Loads are also useful as a non-destructive cinch buckle modification to a Hennessey hammock

Just run the stock Hennessey rope through the eye on the Lock N Load and tie a good knot in it:

Then use single eye tree straps around the tree and you're done.

Easy peasy, and when you sell your Hennessey, its unaltered in stock condition.

    Question

So, as a slight variation on this...

What would be the best method (and shortest) to attach those buckles right to the hammock itself?

Then you could use tree strap with 'biner around the tree,
and the strap would go into the buckle. Super quick, super simple.

That is the exact subforum your in... that is part of what the gear manufacurer section is, most of the cottage guys show off their new products in their subforum, or in other in the case where they dont have their own.
If the manufacurer is not doing this, that is kinda their choice.

Nice looking setup, though as a light guy I think Ill stick with dyneema

Easiest to do would be to splice a loop of amsteel to the buckle, and then larkshead onto end of hammock or larkshead thru the hemmed end of hammock.

I use 9mm racer slings like the ones Kammok uses:

    http://www.kammok.com/Kammok-Roo-Cam...ck-p/11001.htm

But lark's head the cinch buckle to it before running through the end channel on the hammok.

You could also larks head a cinch buckle on an Amsteel continuous loop.

Finaly got out, they say you should only have one woman but you can have all the hammocks and suspention setups you want,
Here i have readystraps with lock n loads with continuos loops spliced on them, one setup with amd one setup without but i use a carabiner and i would use the continuos loop to attach my ridgeline but i forgot it at home so use your imagination.
As you can see i can larks head the loops right onto the stock cord that came with the hammock or replace it by running my c-loops right thru the channel.
In all my readystrap setups my straps have a dee ring installed on one end.

And last but defintly not last i also use the all time classic dutch clip-dutch buckle set up.

Not sure if one setup is better than another, guess it is personal choice and since they are all great setups i will use them all, just take turns

Sweet set up Saedy! Bummer that the tree is just big enough around that the printing ended up in the middle of the dee ring. Need to find smaller trees The dee ring is a good idea. Keeps the strap from getting squeezed at the loop and looks clean too.
    Looks good!
