    ENO Double Nests in Monsoon

We spent this past weekend (labor Day) camping on the Mogollon Rim in North-Central AZ. When we left the valley (Phoenix) it was 102 F. An hour later we reached the rim and it was a brisk, wet 62F. The two hammocks are tied off to the front of the jeep (about 2' separation) and a single tree at the foot end. The tarp is just a plain cheap poly from Walmart. We were close enough to stay warm and cozy. Not a drop of water made it into the enclosure.

Sounds like a success! The poly tarps are great when new. They are cheap and do the job.

I am in the market for a quality tarp for camping. I would welcome any suggestions.

if you are staying with the Jeep and want to replace the poly go to Urethane coated. Heavier but stronger, cheaper and arguably more waterproof than Sil. There are a host of sources.
    YMMV
