    I can't tell you how to hang on a cruise liner, but several years ago I spent a week on a schooner in the Bahamas, and slept in a hammock slung underneath the boom, which worked great!

    I actually worked on cruise ships for a number of years and I would suggest not doing that in those rooms. Most likely you won't be able to do it on deck either as it is a safety issue. Really sorry dude, but have a blast on your cruise.

    Fronkey that is about what I figured to begin with, but hope does spring eternal, and I had to ask. With your experience considered, I defer to wise council, and if I take a hammock I will reserve it for on shore resting.
