Hey there! It's been over a decade since I last wandered your way, and agree, definitely once of the most beautiful places in the States I've been, and one of the best places for camping I've ever been.

Good luck in your decision making, wish I could help, but my hammock experience is only 30 seconds, and it wasn't a camping one.

I agree a beautiful place, welcome from east Tennessee, if you make it down our way ill let you lay in a Insulhammock b4 you buy it,LOL best of luck in your search and happy hangin

OK the cold Black Porter is now making this hammock adventure even better sounding. I appreciate the advise about the Clark's. Light is important. comfort probably more so. Any thoughts?

I will be in town (Redmond the weekend of the 13th) I am on call (Veterinarian) but should be a able to "swing" a time to try out the Blackbird if you are available. Let me know bgraybackpacker.
