Hi, I've just begun to discover the joys of hanging. Had a beautiful night in a campsite in Devon last week that actually had trees in it (many campsites in the UK are in windy fields without trees).
Into being in the woods, bushcraft, cooking on fires, watching nature, wild swimming, etc and take my kids out with me all seasons, and I am lucky enough to do that as part of my living too!
Currently have a DD frontline, but i have been totally inspired by headchange4u's tutorial to have a go at making an asymettrical hammock as I don't seem to be able to get a particularly flat lie out of the DD no matter how I tweak it. Spent today tearing apart a broken tent for zips and tape.
I occasionally arrange informal meets in local woods, so if anyone is in the area it would be great if you got in touch.
Finally, I would like to say a huge thanks to all the people who have contributed to these forums as I have learned loads from their experience and wisdom that i never could have done any other way.
Cheers
Chris
