    1/16th inch cross-linked polyethylene

Tried this in a single layer last night here in NJ. Sleeping bag worn as such (not quilt style). Got me down to below 55 before CBS set in and I went inside at about 5 when the temp had dipped below 50. Having trouble with initial placement (it seems to float around as hammock is entered--see other thread).

Otherwise quite impressive for a 1/16th inch product. I will try a double layer tonight.

Do you have a link or some more info that you could post for that product?

I found this initially at some other site--maybe Warbonnet?

Any chance you have a weight on that foam pad?

one 73x49 inch "skin" (promised as 72x48) weighs about 430 something grams which I hope is also 15.2 oz (Google says "pretty darn close").

My cut down version weighs 8.3 oz, and I'm not done trimming yet. That's still 33 inches wide and I've kept the full length 72-ish inches (much narrower at the foot end).

    Hope this helps,
