As long as your suspension is some sort of shock cord, like the incubator has, there is no problem using it on a bottom entry hammock. To get in and out you simply move it to the side and when the entry hole closes, it will slide back into position. Side adjustments from inside are possible but take a bit of practice.

If you are considering going with a zipper mod anyway, go ahead and do that. It not only gives you more options, it will give you access to the quilt for easy adjustments from inside the hammock.

    Yes.
Very well, too. Push incubator to the side, get in, and let incubator pop back into place.

    Thanks

I need an underquilt for 2 gathered end hammocks and would like it to work on my Hennessy and the incubator looked like the one but could not find info that it worked on the bottom entry.

+1 on this, and I'll add that with an UQ that you're having to push to the side to get in and out, its a must having the ability to adjust the UQ while you're in the HH. Not so much with a Phoenix because you mostly don't have to push it out of the way - though the suspension tends to get in the way of entry/exit and can disturb how you have it set.

I loved my HH bottom entry, but I wouldn't have it with an UQ and without the zipper mod.

    Its Here!!!

I Love It. Thank you Adam and Jenny for such a fine piece of gear. I've been struggling with pads in hammocks for more than a decade and have dreamed of an underquilt since I found out about them here on HF. I spend months living outside every year and this will make my life so much more comfortable.
Still have to try it on my old HH but works great in my gathered end. Will report back after spending the night in the HH.
