Hi from Ohio

Hi gang. My name is Robert and I'm from Westerville Ohio. This is my first post. I'm just starting to look into hammock camping and plan to use one at the end of the month is southern ohio. My motivation is looking to go lightweight. I'll be 60 this coming year and I want to go easy on the old bod...as much as possible... and keep going as long as possible. I also look to do some kayak camping so hammocks seem to be a good fit. Right now, I think I'm going with a Hennessey ultra light set up.
I've enjoyed all the advice, suggestions, etc and look forward to visiting often.

Just a short piece north of ya in Sunbury. Welcome and keep us posted on the kayak camping plans.

The Ohio guys tend to get out somewhere most every month for a group hang, now that the weather is cooling off keep an eye out for something at Mohican or Zaleski.

Welcome to the forum from the Newark area. My son and I have done 3 kayak trips this summer down the Licking River to Toboso twice with our hammocks and Dillon once. Our favorite part is always going through Blackhand Gorge. Super Pretty!!
