Hi all! I couldn't find this in search so thought I'd ask. I used to be a golf club fitter/builder and have a bunch of shafts lying around both in graphite and steel. I was contemplating using the tip end (the part that goes into the club head) as a toggle for my adjustable ridge line. I'm not sure I"d trust it as a suspension toggle though the tip end of a graphite shaft can take a good deal of torsion, I still wouldn't trust it to hold up any real weight.
Any ideas on this. Most shafts have anywhere up to a 4" trimming section, so I could easily make a 2" toggle out of one. Obviously the steel would be heavier, but was also considering the graphite one as well.
All thoughts are welcome.
