    Caught the hammock bug.....real bad

So I got my first hammock for Father's Day this year. It was a hennessy. I have the bug pretty bad. I spent scout camp in the hennessy and then started on my hammock addiction. I have gotten in trouble from my wife for putting eye bolts in the bedroom. In my defense I made a very pretty table clothe hammock to match the bedroom decor. I catch her napping in it when she thinks I am not home. We made hammocks with the scouts and recently I made this hammock shelter. It actually holds up pretty good, I had five occupied hammocks and a hammock chair in it and it didn't come down. I don't know how it would do for sleeping as every time someone moves everyone feels it. But lots of fun.

That is awesome. I could see adding some panels for walls during the winter months.

The possibilities are endless. I have been trying to come up with something to put multiple boy scouts in when assigned to a specific campsite with no hanging trees.

Somewhere on this site is a thread by a Canadian Scout troop that built a portabel geodesic dome for hanging in. IIRC, it held around eight Scouts.

Got to get out and test it this last weekend. Had twelve squealing girls (my daughters friends) in 7.5 hammocks at our annual church camp out. My son and I actually slept in the hammocks and daughter and 3 year old son slept in the tent (My three year old wiggles out of his sleeping bag and then the bag is on the floor and he is shivering in the hammock).

Also got a picture of the DIY tablecloth hammock in the master bedroom. I think it matches the decor wonderfully, but I still get eye rolls from my wife.
