3rd annual Iowa Hang > Planning thread

Well I'd love to put the feelers our there for a third annual Iowa hang.

I'm thinking November 1-3 or the 15-17 for dates. In the past we've done the Yellow River State Forest which has proven to be a good location to bring people from MN, IA, and WI. I'd be happy to do it there again, but am also open to suggestions. So who's in?

Fountain Springs is a nice park though currently it is walk in only, may need to contact the dnr about using the park for a group as I'm not sure it is open for camping completely. Tons of great areas to hang. Though I would be game if I am available to go further north still great trout fishing up there.

As for dates I'm not sure what work will be doing at that time so it would be hard to commit at this point.

If all works out and the 15-17 is chosen for the dates and the moon and planets are lined up correct. I will be going to this. If you can get to Dubuque you can ride the rest of the way with me if you like. I would be taken off around 4 pm Friday night.
