So I ordered 4 yards of the black 1.1 from DIYgearsupply, and it just showed up. Took it out of the bag and it weighs 258g, roughly 9.1oz. I am thinking about taking 6" off, leaving me 3 inches on each side for my whipping, and then I will still have an 11ft hammock. I am hoping that with my dynaglide UCR's that I got from Caveman and a zing-it SRL I can still come out under 10oz.
Probably won't heat seal the edges, as I plan on them being hidden in my hem. But here is a crappy picture from my phone of it just out of the shipping bag. It feels thicker and more durable than I expected, so that is a good thing!
