The answer is "it depends". It could be 30 or it could be minus 20. I believe we have seen 0 before. Speaking from personal irresponsibility, ensuring you are properly hydrated makes a big difference. I've been hypothermic at 20 and toasty at minus 20.

never though about that for that extra bit of "personal" insulation.
My hands were too cold to work a zipper. Depends probably would have helped!
