But yet you still question me on the benefits of lining your hat with aluminum foil...

By the way, I'd go with the blue one as well.

I plan on calling an audible that Saturday...peer pressure is welcome!
Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose.

I'm counting nine hikers that will need a ride out from Hampton Creek trailhead so far. If Jimmy Neutron is kind enough to provide one round of shuttling, that would still leave six at the trailhead waiting for the next ride.

We could meet at the trail head and carpool to Carvers Gap Friday evening if we coordinate. Lets get Fri arrival times

The Knoxville / Nashville caravan will most likely have an early dinner at Bob's Dairyland (estimating 4:00pm) in the town of Roan Mountain before driving up to Carvers Gap, we'll tighten the time before departure and phone updates while in route.

I plan on arriving to MM's home around 6pm and hope to be in camp by 10pm at the latest, but that depends on MM and Poof.

If Neutron can not carry enough drivers back to get all the cars from Carvers.

1)Roche, i could meet up with you guys Friday and leave my car at trail head if you have room to haul me and my gear to Carvers Gap.

2)Other option would be you could drop a couple guys at Carvers Friday afternoon then come pick me up from trail head.

3)I could meet MM's party later if they have room.

Any would leave my car to ferry drivers back to Carvers Sun. That is if there is parking at trail head, I have heard it is a little difficult to locate.

Bob's Dairyland is a good place to meet and grab a bite. Assuming we have decent weather, dropping a car off at Hampton Creek Cove on Friday night will help us out Sunday morning.
