I'd bet more on "wintry mix" with mostly sleet falling Saturday. Hopefully the wind isn't too bad as sleet hitting your face at 30 mph is not pleasant.

My safety factor will have a safety factor. Last year the weather called an audible and there were times when I was
    Feeling like a dead duck.

This time around, I'm ignoring the "spot forecast" for RHK and instead taking the closest two towns' forecast and subtracting 15.

I hate packing for a wintry mix as that usually means "bring everything".

Spitting out pieces of his broken luck - I still would like to go but the spousal unit said NO. I did acquire the necessary boots, the Air Force Mukluks found here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mukluks-N-1B...r=540295517495. I saw a few folks in Shugs video with these on. So I'll just sit back in the warmth of my home office and dream of Cold wind swept peaks, and freezing winter hangs.... but I'll be ready for next year? assuming there's an open invitation.

Roche, what I and the reset of the hammock forums crazies will regret; while your drying in the cold sun, we'll all miss watching as the frilly panties run.

Hopefully you'll be able to make it for one night even if you can't make the rest.
