    gear check time

Woohoooo. was 2 degrees Celsius(35F) when I woke up this morning. No I wasn't in a hammock. In my comfy bed beside a wide open window. But it means I get to play with my cold weather layers early and wanted to rub it in.
since I am new to hammocking this is my first time with cold weather, so I get to tinker with what I have and make that aweful (but sweet) list of what I want to buy to not freeze.

How about a list of what you have, and want? And thanks for rubbing it in, although it looks like colder weather is not too far away.

It went down to 2°C about 10-days a go and I was also quite excited to test out how comfortable I would be in my new setup (turns out I was very comfortable). My wife thinks I am crazy to look forward to colder overnight lows.

    Cheers

And I thought I was having fun at 57 degrees F this morning. Amazing how a cold front puts some jazz into your hanging. Colder tonite, Was using 50 degree TQ by UGQ and Breeze by Te-Wa which is a 50 with extra oz of down in it,,toasty! Will switch to diff quilts tonite as they say 40's...can't wait.

And it was a balmy 74℉ this morning in Texas, highs in the upper 90's...
