    Anyone have 11 ft hammock comparisons?

    I've been considering a WBBB XLC for a smidge more room but wondered if any of y'all had any comparison experience? I know Dream Hammock offers one and there are others but have no clue beyond that. So what is your go to cottage industry 11' hammock (not into DIY here) and why?

    What calls about the XLC is the;
    extra foot of room (obviously)
    improved side view
    removable bug netting
    structural ridge line
    adjustable webbing suspension (the motorcycle carries my extra grams )

    I have a Dream hammock Thunderbird. I can say that it is my go to because the quality is unmattached. The customer service is eons beyond wonderful. Papa Smurf worked with me answered my 1,000 questions and even as my project began we made a few changes. It is an amazingly comfortable hammock and light even though it is 11ft. I would not hesitate to go back to dream hammocks when it is time for the next one. I oen hennesseys and a few ENO's.

    I have a WBBB XLC and a Lite Owl, both 11 footers. I have previously owned 10 foot WBBB's and Travelers. I much prefer the 11 footers. They are more comfortable for me and less finicky to get comfortable in.

    Hey Shug. The drawcord foot/head idea is interesting...hard to have too much ability to adjust for comfort. Oh and shame on you for admitting you have too many hammocks.

    In my mind the WL hammocks would require their adjustable SRL and skeeter netting added. My heft makes the Night and Lite Owl work but adding the SRL and netting brings them up to the price of an XLC. If you had to pick one which would it be?

    I have no say on any other 11 footers than a DIY and XLC, I find my XLC to be the most comfortable hammock I've ever laid in. I love having options of no top, net, or rip stop cover. All around pleased. That being said a dream hammock is definitely in my future, just not this year probably. After all I need another one in case even more people want to go. At least that's what I tell myself.

    I have an 11' BIAS and an 11' DIY.
    11' rules (for me anyway). I couldn't get comfortable in 10 footers and don't like the side tie outs for a diagonal lay.
    11' x 62" gives me the perfect fit and I can lay right or left. However, it is not conducive to side views, even with the Knotty mods I put in. The DIY is now the go to rig. Both are 1.0 fabric, but I'm a lightweight at 150#

    The foot end has a great view left or right as well as the right side as you lay asym. I just remember that as I setup.

    Anyone have 11 ft hammock comparisons?

    I made an 11 foot tablecloth hammock and it was so comfy I ordered a DangerBird72, and stopped looking. I've got my dream hammock now!
