Hennessey with continuous loops sanity check

    Hi All,

For some reason I had a difficult time finding any pictures or video of a continuous loop on a Hennessey hammock. Does the attached image look alright? Thanks-

That looks very similar to what I did a while back. Looks good to me.

Thanks Mr Ploppy. I get a little nervous when things seem too easy.

    Yes it's always a worry.

I guess you will find out whether it is right when you hang from it .

If I was going that route I would use enough wraps to fill the space between the two holes. The reason for that would be to duplicate the way the stock ropes spread the load and load the holes. If you do less something in the mix is getting over stressed.
    YMMV

I believe you need to have your loop go back through the hole before you larkshead it.

Ok here is how I did it.

    Off the Whoopieslings.com site http://youtu.be/PyUgwyJd6IE

So there is a slight difference. Yours still might be ok though.

Thanks for the replies. I had watched the whoopieslings.com video and actually the other end of the hammock came out just like theirs. I'm not sure how I got turned around on this end, but I fixed it and all is well now.

    Thanks again, All!
