New guy. Going camping and hanging!!

The only thing I might add is you might try putting the pad between the hammock and the fleece UQ, just a thought but it may help with the condensation and help keep it from sliding around, enjoy the trip

Decided to build a turtlelady type stand for my hammock. Cost was dirt cheap $40.58 6- 2x2's and 2 chain link poles.

One thing I had some success with is taping the fleece blanket to the ccf pad (I had a double layer hammock). The fleece soaked up any condensation and I stayed pretty warm.

Hey, can someone help change my username. I originally joined this forum just to see different hammocks to see which to buy, but now i am addicted. I'd like it to be CrappyfishRman. It's what I normally register with, dont know why I didnt do that in the first place. I searched to its not taken. Thanks!!

I did my first hangs in the backyard last winter, in my ENO DN. I used a wal-mart special OT down bag as a TQ, with a blue ccf pad under me. I didn't like the way the pad felt, so I took a warm, synthetic blanket, folded over a few times and tucked it in over the pad. By morning I ended up with the blanket bunched around me like a nest, TQ over me, and mostly on the pad. Cold shoulders and whatnot, but did a drizzly 40° and dry 35° like that. I much prefer my IXUQ now. The fleece UQ idea sounds killer for found materials, though you might want to toss a wind barrier into the mix.
