Family of 4 hangin' with the Scouts

Okay, so it has taken me a good bit of the summer with small segments of really good build time but I have been able to complete it!

2 hammocks from table cloths, bugnets, whoopie slings, and tree straps for my 2 boys.

The next major hurdle was selling the Mrs on hanging. Mind you she loves camping and just knew that she would love hanging even more. So this weekend I was finally able to get her to lay in her hammock for the first time and......she loved it!

She told me that she thought I was nuts but after she relaxed a little bit in her hammock this past weekend she was sold.

Only thing left now is redo my bugnet and install her bugnet and we are done! We'll be ready for this coming weekend.

I will try to get some pictures of the 2X2 hang in our winter tarp.

    Totally Stoked!

Had a great time! Wife really enjoyed sleeping in a hammock and it looks like we will be doing it again but instead of the 2x2 configuration we may go bunk style with two tarps.

I learned alot and have a question regarding condensation. Would laying something on the ground be enough not to have a wet tarp interior?

I seem to have a problem uploading. Getting an invalid security token.

    Anyone seen this before?

I like your setup. Did the kids have the second floor?

The boys had the second floor, they seemed to enjoy it since they were hard to get out of bed in the morning.

The Mrs and I slept well, with the only drawback is that when one would move both would move but would settle pretty quickly.
