I really like the idea of surf and turf - some steak, some scallops and shrimp on the barbie. Kebabs, anyone?
There will be a fire. Although it might be contained in camp stove.

Alright, I've reserved site 7 for 2 nights, 4 people.
That gives us 3 sites for 13 people reserved (Sites 2, 7, and 8). Next week before we head out, we can re-evaluate and see if we need either another site, or to add people to the reservation. I think that can be done in person when we go to the ranger station to check in, without penalty.

that makes 10 Friday and 12 Saturday.
If any more of the unconfirmed opts in, we'll need to either add to the reservations, or get another site.
I'm a maybe, have to relocate a relative into a nursing care facility and if it happens this weekend, then I'm good. I will reserve a spot (9or10) if going.
Trying to get some of college age kids to check it out, maybe even paddle in but we'll see.
I would love to night hike in from Batso but I'll probably be well behind you guys, work on Friday is tough getting done by 5... Maybe I'll just call out!
