No recon needed at Lower Forge, but by all means, enjoy it if you get out there this weekend. :thumb up:

If you hike in from the south, you'll likely go through Mullica River Camp - any pics you take there would be helpful.

I'm planning on hiking to Mullica and/or Lower Forge on Saturday, 11/16. It looks like I may be able to get off work for once.

Nice! And Ratdog offered to try and get out to Mullica tomorrow, to look around and take some pictures, as well.

At the moment, we're looking at 6 hangers plus one tent confirmed for Friday night, and another 2 joining for Saturday night. We're still well within Lower Forge numbers. But that's just who's confirmed so far.

So I have been watching this thread before I confirmed. My grandmother was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks back. Shes back in her home now and I offered to give her a hand around the house this weekend, prepping for winter and putting things in the attic. cause I dont get to meet you guys - but at the same time cause my grandmother is going to be okay.

I hope to see you all at the winter hang though, and enjoy!

    Glad your grandmother's doing okay.

No worries - it's a holiday weekend, don't feel bad about spending it with family instead of a bunch of strangers in the woods

I will get out there tomorrow, just need to remember to charge the camera tonight.
Will update when I get back.

Not sure if I will make it to Hawkins or not, maybe.

12 yr old nephew chimed in tonight that he might like to tag along.

I listed you as my +1 'cause I didn't know if you were on the forum. I've hung/hiked with 90% of the people on the list, and they're some fine folks - a wide range of backgrounds and ages.

Congrats on the Incubator. That's gonna keep you warm in the piney woods.
Thanks. I've actually been on the forums for a while, just passively. I'm trying to not be so much of a lurker. Especially now that i have more time on my hands to enjoy.

Since getting the incubator in the mail I've basically spent some time in it each day, if only for a coupla minutes. It's pretty awesome.

Welcome aboard, Tate. We'll try not to hold it against you that you have a Roo.
Yeah, didn't want you guys to overestimate on my account.
    Thanks for the welcome.
