Silvr thanks for adding me. Can you send me the directions on where to park? I was thinking next to the ranger station that was mentioned earlier in the posts.
As far as bottom insulation may be overkill but I would hate to bail due to being cold.
I plan on heading out in the AM.

You should park at Batsto Village - google should get you there fine (though it is possible to get lost). Exit 52 on the Garden State Parkway and then follow the signs to Batsto Village.

I've posted a hiking map somewhere in this thread - hike through Batsto Village to get to the Mullica River trail. Though I'm a master at getting lost, it will be really hard for you to get lost finding Mullica River campsite. If you have the slightest concern, hike in with the rest of us idiots around 3:30 to 4 pm on Friday.

If you're coming from up North, and plan on going to the Paramus REI, that entire plaza is gonna be nuts.

My wife's family lives up in Waldwick, though. Was up there last night for Thanksgiving. So I hit that REI from time to time. Route 4 is always crappy, and with it being Black Friday I'm sure the area will be even worse.
