    XLC Owners - zipper question

How do you feel about the zipper positioning in the XLC?

Since it's not a two way zipper anymore, I am wondering if that causes any issues for anyone.

no issues really for me, but i usually do not sit in the hammock as my chair either. i did try that and found that the net seems to slowly come back over and i always felt like i was gonna rip something,,,tried the tie offs and the just seemed akward to me, but like i said it was just a try and see sorta thing, other then that i found that it was actually a little easier zipping up and unzipping...

Thank you for the replies so far.

I was asking because I recall someone commenting they didn't care for the single XLC zipper when he compared it to his regular WBBB (dual).

That person preferred the flexibility the dual zipper provided.

So, I was wondering if anyone else had an issue and if it was a deal breaker for some folks.

I prefer the original but have no issue with the position of the new one. However I do wish the zipper was a bit heavier duty.

No complaints at all here! I don't sit in my hammock to lounge around; I usually bring a chair or stool for that. I've never even tried tying the bug net back on my XLC... never had a need to so far.

I'm not the least bit worried about the durability of the zipper, either. The way it's set up, if you don't unzip it far enough and start to stress it when getting in or out, it unzips by itself.

    I love my XLC!

    Take it easy,

thanks for the all the feedback.

this is really helping me narrow down my choice for my next hammock.

I'm down to picking between two as of this moment.
