    My first DIY hammock!

Here it is! My first DIY hammock. 8 ft long, polyester fabric, whipped ends with the edges pulled up so they don't flap around. Descender rings. All hardware from AHE. I am well pleased with the results.

Whew, 8ft? Not a little short?
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

    8 ft

I'm only five foot tall..... the only place i can hang is 10 ft from tree to post. I have to make good with what i've got. ...... I've been thinking about putting up a clothesline... maybe now i will so i can use it for the other end and make a bigger space to hang.

Honey, can you help me put up a clothesline?
Why do you want it there? That is a weird spot.
Because then it will be 12 ft from the tree.
