    Just chiming in fwiw.
    I use 13'3" as a RL distance (in the ultimate hang calculator) for my wbrr and a 25* angle or less (average the results from 20 and 30 degrees). This gives me the correct strap height and suspension length for a comfy hang with the wbrr- which I use fulltime at home too.

    For the bmbh (a deluxe 2012 model) I follow the jacks instructions as stated above. .. pull until the netting begins to tighten- then back off a bit.

    Tried adding ridgelines outside the netting on both and removed them both after a few nights...the RLs were convenient before zipping up the netting; but did not add any quality to the lay that I could notice.

    Also for bridge hammocks in general, you want to hang the head end higher than the foot end, so that when laying it, you more or less come out lying level. Your torso weighs more than your legs.
