Just got to the park. C Loop is closed so B loop it is. Ranger thinks we are the only people here. I'm going in so I probably won't have a signal much longer. Stop are the visitor center to pay and they will give you a camping permit.

Please take and post lots of pictures of the Nube. Ireally want to see in action and kmkw well it works.

I'm thoroughly and completely bummed I could not make this event, life is just unfair sometimes... Wife and kids got sick over Thanksgiving, and I'm certain the locks on the door would have been changed if I elected to hang out this weekend, rather than take care of the sick tribe. So, while envious, I hope all that went had a great time!

I'm sure more will be posted but I wanted to reply quickly. While I started not feeling good Sat and packed up before the pot luck, I had a great time. Here a few pics.

Had a blast at the hang and we had a record breaking turn out. Really enjoyed meeting some new folks and seeing the familiars. The pot luck was tasty and we all stayed toasted, I mean toasty warm. Then, on my way out this morning, I found two bucks. Thanks everyone for making this a fun hang!

Thanks to all who came out for a great weekend, and really enjoyed the company. I ended up being just on the edge of too warm in my setup, but this was the coldest hang I've done, so I'd consider it a success! I just snapped a few shots of my setup since the doors and pole mod were new to me.

I'm looking forward to the next hang, sooner than later.

Johnny 6 blades and I fully enjoyed everyones company and I enjoyed the refreshments. We had a blast meeting all, Remember Never hang on less then 6 inches and keep the lights on. Johnny 6 blades will likely join the forums now that he has met the best of VA. Enjoy the steaks.

My boys had a good time and props to shewolf for putting up with dispicable men. And thanks to JakeRULEZ! For starting the fire at 4:30 when we woke up. Saw the same two bucks as Moto on the way out. VATriker has a serious stove addiction. And the HF Wandering Staff made an appearnce.
