I received my new straps, and arranged my new suspension - can't wait to try it out - should be very flexible and simple. I'm also going to try and use this trip as an oppertunity to figure out what my ideal ridgeline length is.
I also used the Lash-It and Stingerz to create a continuous tarp ridgeline. This way I can keep the hardware separte from the cuben tarp (fear of puncture), but still easily and quickly deploy it.
Any one else pick up any new gear they'll be bringing along?
Love go, 15th sounds like a good date.
Ok, 29th works for me, might convince son to go with me since it is so close to home turf. Hope to see you all there.
I really wish I weren't in Delaware visitng family during that time. Hope y'all have a blast!

Convinced my son to come along so there will be two more at the hang. See you all there
Sounds like several folks will be using the pole mods, looking forward to seeing more of them. First time I saw this, or even heard of it, was at the Fall MAHHA.
Weather keeps at this rate, we might be able to call it a "frozen butt hang". Be even more interesting if it snows!
Nothing new at this time, still working on packaging hammock and tarp and deploying them the best way for backpacking. This trip will give me a great opportunity to see how others hang up their gear.
If its going to be cold out I would prefer it to snow, it just makes me feel warmer.
