Sorry guys but it looks like I'm not going to make it. With three young and active kids things pop up that are tough to miss. Plus I just realized that it's fall clean-up at our church on Saturday (getting ready for the holidays) I feel it is imporant for me to be a part of that.

Plus, while I would really like to meet all of you, that five hour drive to get there was weighing heavy on me.

The company I work for is based in East Tennessee....they are about 35 minutes from the AT (I'm so jealous). How I got stuck being born and raised in Chicago where it's like five hours from a decent patch of woods is beyond me.

Getting close to leaving the desk behind for a weekend! New boots showed up, breaking them in under my desk right now, look especially cool with dress pants. Looking a little wet Saturday and Sunday now, glad I'm going tonight to get some dry time in. See you all on the trail!
