You will need to bring water if you camp at Glen Wendell and John Schultz.

The spring at Brown's Hollow was still running as of this past Saturday.

I plan to be at firetower (per Map posted by hilo4321) around Friday evening (7ish approx) and coming down from Minneapolis ,

    couple question :
*is everyone meeting at John Schultz on friday evening ?
*if anyone like to do carpool, to make it much interesting ?
    * will i be able to find parking at firetower by the time i reach ?

i guess firetower to John Schultz is probably less then a mile

thnx everyone on plenty information out here that made me plan my trip..

It sounds like the plan is to meet at Schultz on Friday night. There is plenty of parking at the firetower and it's about a 1/3 to 1/2 mile walk from the firetower.

I have just made an underquilt but I'm not sure how cold I can bring so I might just have to take you up on the offer of borrowing the UQ if that's cool.

I will be taking off Friday afternoon. You are welcome to ride with me. I like having a vehicle with me incase of family emergencys. My kids are at that age of getting into mischief 7, 9 & 10. My wife likes it when I have access to a vehicle when I'm away from home. I think I am going to park at the Firetower also and head to John Shultz from there. Looks like a good amount of fall campers are going. Should be a GOOD time.
