If you go to the Yellow River web site, They have a "hiking map" PDF that shows the fire tower.

FYI: My 10 day forecast for 11/15, 11/16 & 11/17 at YRSF shows a high temp of 48 low temp of 34 partly sunny and 70% chance of rain on Sunday.

I'll take it... but it's still far off and may change. If it is going to rain one day... I'll take it on the last day

I guarantee it will change but its a good starting point for those wondering.

I'm hoping the rain chance doesn't move into Saturday. My glass is half full and it's going to be a GREAT weekend!!

i am looking to do car pool, its fun rather then driving alone for 5 hrs

i live in minneapoilis and should be ready to leave on Friday ..

can we do that ?

Kayaknut01 we can car pool. I will drive. I am hoping to take off shortly after I drop the kids off at school around 10 or 11 am. That work for you?

I will be there Thursday evening sometime probably get to the park around 7-7:30. Weather doesn't look to bad, looking forward to getting some hiking in with a new pack.
