    We have four large fabric stores here in Portland, Oregon, that carry a variety of fabric, they all have several types of nylon in Blaze Orange and Florescent Orange. Also sometimes, Pendleton Woolen Mills has had some Hunters Orange taffeta available. I bought a 10 yard chunk last year, to make doggie vests out of. I would think Quest Fabric and Seattle Fabric would also have the orange fabric available. Pendleton, just charges the shipping costs that the post offices charges them.

    I just got some blaze orange from ripstopbytheroll.com. it looks good. I'll be making a hammock for a Christmas gift soon.

    I hope you find what you are after! I would think a 'blaze orange anything' would be a good choice for someone responsible for scouts - especially in snow.
    I like to go solo - off trail - immerse myself in the area - explore - eat really well - and make it back home.

    Yes I did get it and it's in my rotation of hammocks.
