Just finished my first hammock camping system

Thanks to everyone on this forum who has contributed knowledge and advice. I would not have the system I do if it were not for the people who have experience and the willingness to share it.

I just finished making a tarp, whoopie slings, tree huggers, basic hammock and snake skins for camping. Although I was truck camping this weekend I took the system along to test it in real world conditions that were extremely windy by the way. During said extreme testing a nap was had. It was so comfortable, how could you not?

First off, whoopie slings are ridiculously awesome. So are catenary cuts. Mason's line works great and snake skins are required equipment. Black is not the best color for a tarp but I had yards of it that someone gave me. The Pack hooks at the ridge line of the tarp worked well and the Linelocs at the corners are priceless.

Thanks again to all who have contributed to this site. I look forward to a real test of the system soon.

Looks good. One thing, I would double check to make sure the whoopies are not sitting on the toggle, I can't quite tell from your pic. Also the whole thing looks like it's upside down, toggle should be on top.

Great looking tarp. I love the grey material against the black.
