    Which Options did YOU Choose

Just curious which options members went with when purchasing their Warbonnet. Since I coundn't figure out how to post a poll, here's my question:

Which one of the suspension options did you choose, and why?
Which one of the fabric options did you choose, and why?

I think I know which way I'll go with these, but am curious as to your ideas and useage. Thanks.

1.7 double with rings and webbing. Why: I'm a lazy lard-butt who likes to be comfortable and dislikes huggers, but is still concerned about damaging the trees.

1.1 double with rings and webbing. Why: Because I bought it for Genuine Draft. She's a cold one so the ability to slip a pad into the hammock in addition to the SnugFit on the outside is a nice thing. Same suspension for the same reasoning.

    Coming soon...
1.7 single layer with rings and webbing. Why: I've got a 485 mile hike coming up in July and want to shave a few ounces.

Double layer 1.1 - because I use a 40" wide ccf pad for insulation, I wanted a pad pocket because I don't like laying directly on the ccf pad, and I weigh in at about 160#, so I figured the lighter weight 1.1 fabric would work for me.

Adjustable ring buckle webbing and suspension - Its just very easy to use and I like being able to adjust the hammock from under the tarp when its raining. Also, I'm not a knot person.

Just an update to say that my BB should be on the way by tomorrow 5/9. I chose a double 1.7, standard configuration, OD green, with webbing. Thanks to everyone for the help. I wonder if I'll need to switch from the MacCat Deluxe to an Ultra (got to keep the economy going).

I used the Speer Winter tarp with mine. I will use that tarp even in the summer since it is so light.

Both of my warbonnets are 1.1 double. I ordered the first one with the rope and huggers setup and found it annoying to work with, so I ordered the second with straps and ring buckles, and had brandon add a second set of ring buckle suspension to my order so I could switch the first hammock over.

John I got the BB second hand from another member here. It is the 1.1 with webbing/rings and the reason I wanted this one is the ease of setup, plus webbing and rings/buckles is what I prefer. Im light at about 134 soaking wet so the 1.1 works great for me. Also, i dont use a pad in this one, just a summer weight underquilt. (2/3, 32° rating)
its about 26 oz after all stock accesories plus 2 Camp nano 'biners.

I thought you were a bridge guy? You have come over to the BB cult?

Both of mine are custom, so no idea on the fabric weight. I know the second one is much, much lighter than the first. But both are double layer, and both are camo. Tree straps for both. Love the treestrap setup.
