    Its a great place. Bring lotsa stuff. The fire was always blazing and the company kept you warm. Perfect for first time out in the cold winter. You cant go wrong and everyone helps out.

    Happily retired as of April 20th!! No more turnout gear for this guy......I spend so much time in the 'wilds of western Mass. that it's all camo, all the time!! Or so it seems , anyway! As far as spicy hot goat meat???? Bring it on to this cast iron digestive system!!! A cold beverage & a brow wipe are the only accessories required!

    Don't knock it 'til you've tried it! It really is delish in a variety of recipes for most who haven't!! My favorite prep is a kid goat on a spit over an open fire, sprinkled liberally with garlic & pepper.

    I seem to recall a post about a mushroom cloud....perhaps the bottom dregs of a stew pot going into the campfire that created it?
