got the hammock up inside today so I can start working on a Winter Sock. I guess I'll need one! I have some material left over from an underquilt I was going to make (made one but didn't get around to a second one). It's DWR ripstop but can't remember if it's 1.1 or 1.9 oz. - is this the correct stuff to be using? Do you guys and gals all use winter socks?

===> I got it with my new RidgeRunner (LOVE it!) and Lynx UQ. I wonder about the RR in the cold, though. My Blackbirds with the Incubator kinda wrap you up. Less dead air space to heat up. We'll see. Bringing both hammocks to the winter hang.

I have the rr. Now waiting for a full length winter lynx, w/3 oz overfill. And the spindrift. Should be nice and toasty.
Also waiting for a 12' RL CF tarp with pullouts spaced for RR from HG.
Just got in skipulk poles and fin kit. Was going to get the sled Tonight but I had no room in the car.
It's been a busy month. I have loved selling car parts that I got for nothing and turing around and purchase gear that I can use.

You have to slice a small channel in the bottom of the tub of the sled about the width of the fin then stick the fin through and bolt it on.
