When are you planning on heading down? Would you like to meet up and here and then head down?

Heading down Friday, leaving my area in the morning. Have talked with Grey Eagle about meeting up in Brunswick and travelling the rest of the way together. Maybe ask him in there is room for one more? He's been to the hang location before so we wont get lost

Just stumbled across this and I may come. Im new to the whole hammock camping thing but this sounds fun and looks like a good way to learn a few things. Do I need to bring anything for the group or just my own personal stuff, etc?
I saw a lot of talk about snowshoes and id def bring mine if we have snow.
My setup isnt the greatest as im on a tight budget so hopefully itll work in the freezing temps!

Atrane it is a great time and we would be happy to have you. As to what you can bring that is up to you. We normally have a group breakfast and dinner on Saturday. So if there is anything you want to add to that it would be welcomed. Everything else is personal. Your gear is your own though if you need something while you are there just ask and I am sure we can come up with something. Keep an eye out for the spreadsheet and go from there. If you need any other questions answer feel free to PM me.

I'll have room in my truck for a total of 4 including me comfortably but could squeeze in one more if needed.

As soon as I can get off work. Going to try for lunch time frame so that way I dont have to setup camp in the dark.
