What is the deepest you have ever seen it out there, are there other people using the campgrounds now? or will it all be virgin ground when we get there?

The deepest for that time of year is about 20+. As to the virgin snow it all depends on how much snow we get between or how close to the hang. There are some people who come and go in there so that is also hard to tell.

Thanks Chazz, Friday and Saturday nights, I can barely walk in regular shoes, never mind snowshoes.

===> Then you can use the Military Assault Snowshoes- more like big paddles attached to your feet. They do not rotate with your ankle, so you just pick em up and put em down and walk. I used those at the last winter hang.

Getting in some Snow shoe practice yesterday, in the Blue Hills. The way the weather looks I should be able to get in some more.
