Not really very Accuweather is now predicting Highs in the 50s with a chance of rain for the weekend of the 10th. I really want to know what they are drinking.

That sounds amazing and simple, which is good for me I started off with a chicken recipe I got out of a cookbook Turtle_Creek sent me.. Basically because it's walking me through the process of "This many briquettes on top, this many on bottom" etc.. I'm not going to lie.. the book is holding my hand through the process nice place to start.

Santa got me the DO, the lid lifter, and the little lid stand, he even left me his red leather gloves (that's what I told my kid.. she freaked a little )

The one thing he didn't leave me was a Tripod.. That must be my penance for having one foot on the naughty list Something I need to look into fixing in the future.. but probably will not happen before the hang.

On a side note.. if anyone going to the hang is considering getting an ILBE setup.. let me know.. I have one in great condition (that's really REALLY clean) that I bought specifically to use for winter, but it's overkill for me.. I've packed 2 peoples worth of gear in it.. and it's still begging for more.. so I just split up the gear between my Exos 46 and 58.. I'm bringing someone.. she can carry her own gear

Tripods are easy to make. I'll toss some 1x1 in the car too along with some paracord. We'll Bushcraft ya a tripod

We will already have one there. That us what I hang the hot water and coffee off of. But we could use another. I need to have another one that is about 8-9' tall.

Yes. I was going to make a list Friday night for people to bring. They can start on the back page on the spread sheet.

If you ever do anything with just charcoal briquettes on the bottom and top (no tripod), here's a handy temperature reference chart.
