edit: toasty warm at negative 22*F. Worst part was having to pee the next AM and not wanting to get out of the warmth.

And that reminds me... a pee bottle is an important addition to cold-weather sleeping gear.

Being an older fella i pee 3-4x in the night. I dig a small hole, 3-4" deep about where my feet would be if i sat in the hammock. I use a 500gr yogurt container inside the hammock, just turn on my side, and lean out and pour it in the hole. That way i never leave the cocoon. Leave the container on the ground till next time. Its good to take a magic marker and mark one side of the lip of the container which is where your thumb will go each time, avoiding getting pee fingers.

Well my best has been 2° F , I could probably do better , but after having a pack liners freeze where I couldn't put them on and just frozen gear in general I switched to hot tenting for deep cold. Yes I have sinned
