    Lynx vs Ridge Creek

I am interested in getting an underquilt for my Ridgerunner and am torn between the Lynx and the Ridge Creek. I am looking for a 3 season underquilt and understand the lynx is down rated to 20 degrees and the Ridge Creek is synthetic but I dont know what it is rated for. I am leaning toward the Ridge Creek on price alone but will be willing to pay a littlw extra if the Lynx is worth it. Please give me some feedback.

Lynx is totally worth it and fits like a glove. It extends the full length of the hammock and is amazing. I have a full length 20 degree with overstuff in multicam and love it.

Ridge Creek I believe is rated to 30 degrees (climashield) for most hangers,,if your warm bodied,,can go lower,,,if you upgrate to Apex synthetic that AHE offers,,you will get 10-15 degrees more warmth. And,,the Ridge Creek is made to fit the WB RR bridge hammock like a glove. Both the Lynx and Ridge Creek are awesome quilts. 1 is down,,other is synthetic.

RidgeCreek is rated to 25 with the regular insulation, 15-20 or lower with the APEX. On the RidgeRunner Accessories page you can see some quotes from Cannibal from his testing last winter. That was with the standard insulation.

It also "fits like a glove."

    I stand corrected.

It's just so much more fitted than the other quilts that I can confidently rate to a lower temp....it can't be miss fitted to the hammock.

The APEX and the standard insulation are the same thickness....weight per ounce. 16oz for either grade. The APEX just preforms better regarding the warmth retention.

I don't know about the ridge creek but I do know Arrowhead makes some great products!
With that said, my Lynx fits my RR just like a glove. The quality is second to none. I just got it so I have not really tested it but like all of Brandon's products I am sure it does what it is supposed to.
    Good luck with your decision.
