Mods, would it be possible to have the diy stickies on the first page only? they take up 17 post slots on every page and make looking for something take forever. We all know where they are if we need them.

Back in the 90s I ran a small BBS ('blast from the past') and it was frustrating how many 'obvious' configuration changes were not allowed by the software. Perhaps things are better now....
We will look into it. I think it will be a software limitation.
The how about a "Stickys" subforum in DIY? Allow no new threads in it, but stick the stickies there. I agree with the OP, the # of stickys makes browsing DIY painful sometimes

A sticky sub-forum is a great idea. In the meantime, you can go to the User CP, Setting Options, and change the Thread Display option to 50 posts per page. That will speed up your searches.
