Yeah, despite the way it looked, that tree wasn't going any further any time soon.

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.

    That's pretty good!

I want to thank everyone for a wonderful time and Mother Nature for perfect weather!!

Although I was not feeling the best and didn't make the festival or do any hiking; we still had a total blast. (and more importantly, my son wasn't disappointed with me) It was great to see you all, and meeting new faces. Chuck is quite a colorful character

I did wonder around a little bit taking some pictures, while everyone was gone, and I will get those pictures up soon. Personally, I enjoyed how quiet the entire camp area was while the festival was going on. I heard some amazing nature sounds, some of which I'm unfamiliar with in these parts.

Special thanks to SlowHike; Rockdawg69; and HomeRun! Also everyone else that did their part to make everything run so smoothly, and food that was absolutely wonderful. I'd like to know how to make the taco lasagna dish.

A big forum hug to you all!!! Each person makes these hangs what they are, and I'm very appreciative of that.

My first Hammock Forums hang! AND the first time all four of us hammock-camped together! Very fun!

Thank you all for welcoming my family and I into the HF-fam. It's always fun to be able to put names to faces as well. Terrific location, beautiful time of year, and food a-plenty. A huge thank you to the trip-organizers!

Looking forward to the next one. Maybe I'll see some of yall around MAHHA? (without the kiddos this time!)

Nice collage of pictures there. Do you have more pictures?
Nice to meet you guys too. I was tickled to see children from three families & of different ages getting along so well.
Hopefully I'll be seeing you guys at the MAHHA.
I hope someone was able to get good pics of the art work on the HF banner by bonsaihiker's daughter as well as the new posters that Rockdawg had made.
