    Algonquin 5-night loop, canoe+hammock

Hi there. I took my Cloudburst tarp and Warbonnet Ridgerunner with me on a solo trip to the southwest part of Algonquin Park in central Ontario recently.

High temp was over 32 (80's F) and low was 1 or 2 (34 or 35F). I was good with my Three season Lynx underquilt and summer HG Burrow.

I post a report mostly for my family, and any other paddlers thinking of that route, so it's not super exciting reading, but if u are interested, there are photos here

    Nice pics

Thanks for sharing your pictures! I just finished a 6 day solo loop in the BWCA and will try to get a report posted. Looks like you were a careful packer - I didn't travel so light (and paid for it on a couple of portages!).

    Very nice sturgeon

The RR and CB make so much sense for canoe based trips, if only I could get my hands on the set.

    Looks like a wonderful time.
That was a pretty cool shot of the bear prints going up the tree.

Looked like a fantastic trip. Although seeing/reading about all the portages you had to do, made me tired.

Mighty fine trip, makes me want to jump in a canoe & head out....right now.
Mountain views are good for the soul....& getting to them is good for my waistline.
