Anyone have an approximate length of shock cord needed for an UQ suspension, on an 11' gathered end hammock?
I have about 30' feet and know that's probably enough to make both sides, but not enough to screw it up once w/o having to go out and get more

Depends on how you are suspending it. Describe the suspension method you want to use. Is it a full length UQ or 3/4?

I read somewhere on here that HG uses one 14' piece for the main suspension(the one that goes through the long channels). So that's what I used when I did my DIY UQ and it worked out great. At first(after installing it on my quilt), I thought it was not going to be long enough(it looked too short to me), but it actually it works perfectly!
