    Anyone Selling All-in-One Suspensions

After much trial and error over the past few years, I'm thinking the all-in-one suspension is the way to go.

Does anyone sell them pre-fabricated? I've seen great videos by Kris and Stu about these, but don't see AIOs for sale on their sites.

I'd really like a pair with the rope thimbles and Omega Pacific rap rings.

You could always send whoopieslings.com a message and ask if they still offer them or have any left over that they could send out. I am thinking that they weren't a good selling item, so that is why they don't offer them any longer.

    Cheers

I emailed WS.com a couple of times asking about AIO not being on the site to order and the response of "indefinitely" left little hope an AIO suspension would be available to purchase again in my lifetime. So I chose the next best; possibly a better thing.

I have a 12" continuous loop threaded through a SMC Descending (drip) Ring. The loop is doubled and fed through the NX-250 end channel, then the ring is fed through the end of the doubled loop to larkshead it to the hammock.

The fixed end loop of the Whoopie is fed through the ring then the far adjusting end of the Whoopie is pulled through the fixed loop to larks head the Whoopie to the ring. The Whoopie isn't "permanently attached" with the loop and in-line drip ring but it sure isn't coming loose on its own. I don't know why I'd want to but I have the option to remove the continuous loop and ring to just use the Whoopie.

After 3 hangs here in the NW, I am actually glad my tree straps aren't permanently attached. I have 6' and 8' straps I can loop together if necessary. I rig both of my tree straps first; loop around the tree and feed one end of the strap through the other loop, then larkshead a 'biner to the loose end of the strap close to the tree. This helps keep the strap in place.

Then I clip in the hammock head end (yellow) Whoopie, pull the hammock out of the bag, and clip in the (blue) foot end Whoopie to the other strap, snug up the Whoopies a bit, insert my NX poles, then finish adjusting the Whoopies.

I started with the AIO for ease of setup but quickly realized the problem when you can't detach your straps when packing after rainy weather. I now have continuous loops attached to the hammock - and whoopies with dutch clips attached to the straps...very easy setup but added convenience of detachable straps.
