Bald Eagle and Pulled Pork

We had a great afternoon and evening Saturday. Had our bellies full of Homeruns beam extravaganza, and Radical hopes rice and dal. Finished it off with peach cobbler compliments of Bald Eagle and son Robbie. Plenty of great campfire chat. Great to see familiar faces, RobLandon, GrayJay, Mountnman, and meet new ones, Madobo, Cbushanger, Radicalhope and fam, and Bald Eagle and son. We had plenty of rain that came about 4am. I stayed dry and glad to hear Ka-tet stayed dry on his first significant rain in his hammock. I wasn't really worried about him, he was under his camo superfly. Lets do it again when the snow starts flyin!

Great pics! I wish that I had gotten a chance to check out everyone else's setups a little closer, especially that Thunderbird. Dark fell upon us super fast. It is probably better for my wallet that I didn't really have a chance, although I am already drooling over those sweet cuben fiber tarps that many of you had.

Hey All, (sorry for late reply...was under the weather for a couple days) just wanted to say what a nice time I had. Hammock camping with friends has all the ingredients that result in relaxation....a nice fire, meeting new folks, good eats, tellin' lies, and a comfy night's sleep...rain tapping my hammock. Hammike, you're right....for sure we have to meet again when we have some snow. And thanks for the recon video!

Mountnman, mighty fine of you to get the Germantown Gang together. You know how to throw a real Hammock Hoedown! Outstanding!
