Got to try the quilt out up in the Mountains this past weekend. Spent 3 nights, temps were around 50 for the first two nights, and 60 for the last night. Sleeping with a 15* Marmot sleeping bag, I was hot all three both nights, and had to vent the UQ on the last night. Shock cord on the quilt made it really easy to vent by just letting out one corner. It would have been better to have it at the head end, but can still get to the foot and not have to get out of the hammock so I'll live with it.. Will have to wait for a colder campout to really test the UQ to it's limits.

Another field report:
Took the underquilt to Belk Scout Camp near Charlotte, NC over the weekend. First night it went down to 26, and the underquilt worked great paired with my 15º sleeping bag as topquilt. The only issue I had was that my sleeping bag doesn't breathe well enough when I have it pulled over my head, and it was way too cold to leave my face exposed..
I had a chance to check out stcannon1's Wilderness Logics top quilt with a fleece patch on it, and think that's the ticket..

Great looking UQ...well thought out and executed.
Nice work !!!!
She's a beaut.....well done-
Ran across this from your Lynx-PLU clone. Amazing work. The U setup on the RR is one of my favorite parts of that hammock. Well done! Looks EXCELLENT. I wish more vendors used Argon as an alternative for their quilts. Would love my Lynx in Argon - would make it even lighter.
